The work plays with the weight of the reactions with which we comment daily on the content we view. What matters is not the primary value of the emoji itself but the meaning with which it was invested at the time of the reaction. These reactions move from the profane to the sacred sphere by encountering a metallic material, which makes them, in some way, ‘different’.
