Symbolic, natural, functional, practical: the work stems from a reflection on the gestures we perform daily. What is the relationship between intention and automatism? The artwork Reverse Actions presents simple, everyday actions in reverse. The artwork consists of a video presenting 15 reversed actions; a list of 48 actions, which includes some of those performed while featuring others that remain unperformed; and several sheets of paper upon which viewers can propose and write their own reversed actions.
